Arenal Volcano National Park

It took a full days travel to get to Liberia international airport. 94 degrees was a shock to the system but we responded with plenty of water. The trails run straight up or straight down.

It erupted in 1968 and the footing was volcanic ash and stone.

Thermal Springs

Can be found all over the area. Streams and creeks flow down the volcano and are heated by the volcano and mineralized as they come up to the surface.

Waterfalls and small pools are formed at a perfect 104 degrees and have a lava/pumice black base.
