Grand Tetons

Grand Teton National Park is located in Wyoming and has a land area of over 310,000 acres. The park has a 40-mile-long mountain range named, you guessed it, the Teton Range as well as most of the northern sections of the valley known as Jackson Hole.

  • I am well aware I look like a douchebag here, please don’t judge the photo.

  • I took mostly landscape photos of the park and only have a few with me in them.

  • If you think this one is bad you should see the rest.

For more information on the Tetons please go to NPS link here: https://www.nps.gov/grte/index.htm

Jackson Lake and the Northern Tetons

We had some time in Yellowstone and as I had mentioned, if you go to Yellowstone and you are already out this way you have to come here. It essentially is a contionuation of the awesomeness of the area. Plus you get to check another park off the list. That’s how I looked at it since I didn’t know much about this place. Wow was I mistaken….

This place stands on its own…………. It is drop dead gorgeous!

I was just driving down the road and this rainbow appeared with no cloud in sight, has to be magic right?

The leaves were changing and the air felt crisp, this is my favorite time of year. It is also the best time to be in the national parks. Plus as a double bonus kids are back in school and you get the place to yourself!

A sea of yellow, gold and orange!

Jenny Lake

A perfect late afternoon, that period that’s not quite sunset but you know its approaching.

Off the distance behind Jenny is Mr. Teton himself.

The park is named for Grand Teton, the tallest mountain in the Teton Range and he is back there with the sun on top of him.

The natural beauty of the Snake River
