Mallorca, or Majorca, is the largest island of the Balearic Islands and apart of Spain, and the seventh largest island in the Mediterranean Sea. Its population is just shy of a million of which half live in its capital and largest city Palma.

Valldemossa

It doesn’t always make sense to rent a car on an island trip but this place it does. There is a lot to see here and with small villages and tight turns Majorka is a fun driving destination. We stumbled across this place, Valldemossa and it was grand.

Aclcudia

It is the main tourist centre in the North of Majorca on the eastern coast. It is a large resort popular with families. Most of the hotels are located in Port d'Alcúdia and Platja d'Alcúdia, along the 14 km (8.7 mi) long beach that stretches all the way to Ca'n Picafort.

Barceló Illetas Albatros

The hotel is set in a privileged location on the seafront with stunning views and is surrounded by the beaches of Illetas.
