New York City

New York City lies where the Hudson River meets the Atlantic Ocean. It’s comprised of 5 boroughs with a total land area of 303 square miles.

New York, New York- The city so nice they named it twice, the city that never sleeps, the Big Apple, the Empire City. So many different names and ways to describe it. Its the one travel place I have memories of throughout my life from childhood to middle aged man. Ive seen its worst days and Ive seen its best, Ive seen it come together and fall apart. What happens here and whatever state it is in is representative of the entire nation. I believe right now is its darkest hour but that doesn’t mean it has to be its last. New York City is the greatest city in the greatest country that the world has ever known. It has suffered at the hands of political madness and the American people are finally begin to wake up.

Getting Here

New York has 3 major airports.

Around Town

September 11

If you have not been here this is an absolute must see destination! I cannot emphasize this enough. It is an emotional journey and you can relive the events that happened the day the earth stood still.

The memorial fountain was well done and pays homage to those who lost their lives that day. The setting is somber and appropriate.
