Galapagos- Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz and Getting Around
Its capital is Puerto Ayora, the most populated urban centre in the Galapagos Islands. On Santa Cruz there are some small villages, whose inhabitants work in agriculture and cattle raising. This structure is the front wall of a private residence, I love the blue.
Sunrise is a great time to walk around the islands; just you, the people rushing to work and the frigid birds stalking the skies.
Santa Cruz is a special place and you really get an appreciation for the people that live in Galapagos when you visit.
The Vegetation Is Wild Here Too
Everything here is similar to something you have seen before just a little different combination.
It’s hard to say which is better since I enjoy them both so much. I would say for this particular trip it was the the sunset because something special happened one night. When the sunset the moon rose, it was a fiery red a “blood moon”. It was one of the most majestic occurences and one I will remember for the rest of my life.
Finch Bay Hotel
The Finch Bay is very nice and the best hotel on the island. Clean rooms, fast wifi, top-notch workout facilities, fantastic food, great pool, friendly staff, amazing property, perfect! Theater taxi picks you and drops you off at foot path. You take a nice little beachfront stroll to get to the hotel.
