Gear I like to travel with…..

  • Camera

The Canon R5 is the best camera ever made! Okay so its the only one I have and it works pretty good. It cost a fortune, lens are expensive and saving all that data is hard but it has never overheated so boom. Very expensive but it is the best at taking pictures.

  • Backpack

5.11 Tactical Backpack ‚ Rush 72 2.0 ‚, 55 Liter, Large, Style 56565 ‚ Kangaroo. If you like to be prepared for anything this is the bag for you. It is massive with a million compartments.

  • Flashlight

Fenix PD36R 1600 Lumen USB rechargeable CREE LED tactical Flashlight with EdisonBright charging cable carry case bundle. Perfect size and very powerful.

  • Pocket Knife

DescriptGerber Bear Grylls Folding Sheath Knife, 3.6" Blade, Rubber Grip. It is the perfect pocket knife.

  • Earbuds

Powerbeats Pro Totally Wireless earphones help revolutionise your workouts — with zero wires and adjustable, secure-fit earhooks. It is expensive but the best. Charges fast, long battery.

  • Rain Jacket

Columbia Airtight II- I always carry this and Columbia rain pants. Its cheap and lightweight. Plus you can wad it up and stuff it anywhere.

Items to Pack……

  • Passport

Duh, bring your passport when necessary. But it is a good idea to bring a photocopy for your wallet and take a picture so its saved on your phone. Just in case.

  • Credit Card

Obviously you need a credit card but don’t assume any card will do the job. Make sure you have a travel card that covers incidentals. Especially things like lost bags and rental insurance. Had an issue in Tasmania and Chase Sapphire covered the whole thing, didn’t cost me a penny!

  • Cash

95% of the time you can throw it on the card and probably should. It is always a good idea to have cash on hand just in case. Many a time I wished I had some small bills for tipping weather it be a bag handler or for tipping.

What are some items that you have to have? What are your “I can’t leave the house without you” items?

  • I tend to overpack which is problematic because I end up having to carry all that extra junk but…….

  • I always have everything I need and I am always prepared.
