Items to Pack……

  • Passport

Duh, bring your passport when necessary. But it is a good idea to bring a photocopy for your wallet and take a picture so its saved on your phone. Just in case.

  • Credit Card

Obviously you need a credit card but don’t assume any card will do the job. Make sure you have a travel card that covers incidentals. Especially things like lost bags and rental insurance. Had an issue in Tasmania and Chase Sapphire covered the whole thing, didn’t cost me a penny!

  • Cash

95% of the time you can throw it on the card and probably should. It is always a good idea to have cash on hand just in case. Many a time I wished I had some small bills for tipping weather it be a bag handler or for tipping.

What are some items that you have to have? What are your “I can’t leave the house without you” items?

  • I tend to overpack which is problematic because I end up having to carry all that extra junk but…….

  • I always have everything I need and I am always prepared.
