Bryce Canyon
The Ponderosa Pine bark smells like vanilla and butterscotch.
The red rock hoodoos is one of the most picturesque sights you’ll find anywhere in the world and hiking the canyon trail is an amazing experience. But be warned… that final stretch of the hike is an absolute killer. It turns into a winding, grueling, hands-above-your-head march straight uphill. It is pure misery, your legs are on fire, your lungs are questioning your life choices, and every step feels like punishment. But then you reach the top, and suddenly none of it matters. You look out across those towering red spires capped in white, and it feels like the canyon is showing off just for you. Suddenly, the suffering feels less like torture and more like the price of admission.
