The Ritz Carlton is the best place to stay hands down. If you want to start the day with a good sweat they have a great workout center and tennis courts. If you want to skip that and get straight to the Pina Colada’s and relax, they got you covered there too. The Ritz was well….The Ritz! Beautiful property and it is first class from the moment you get out of the taxi. The only negative is the rooms are set back on the hill a bit so you will be walking some stairs to get back. I actually enjoyed this because it was a great leg workout and mad you feel like you earned your playtime each trip to the room.

Megan’s Bay

is a beautiful beach that is a postcard perfect place to tan and swim. Bring a towel and setup shop under a palm tree. Unfortunately it is a hot spot for cruise ships but when we arrived their was absolutely no one here. I recommend coming early or finding out when the ships come and visit accordingly. The one thing that can ruin natural beauty is people.

Eats and Drinks

There is no shortage of places to catch a good meal or have a cold one. Everyone you meet has a good recommendation of a staple restaurant or local favorite so just ask. Almost all establishments have a great view and beach feel to them and since tourism is their main source of income don’t forget to wear a smile and tip well.
