Houston

Houston is the largest city in Texas and the 4th largest city in the United States.

It is also noteworthy that it is physically one of the largest cities. It has the nickname of “Space City” because it is home to the NASA space command and “Bayou City” because of its connection to climate. It’s 2,325,350 residents is the most diverse populations in America. With all of these people, from all walks of life, how is it so clean and friendly? Why is Houston doing so well and NY, Chicago and LA are failing?

Downtown is amazing

Galleria / Uptown

Centered along Post Oak Boulevard and Westheimer Road is Houston’s fancy shopping district. The Galleria/Uptown area offers nearly 1000 retailers including; fine dining, Texas' largest shopping mall, hotels, an ice rink and endless food options all within two square miles. Uptown has some of the largest houses you will find anywhere. If you have money this is where you want to be.

Next Trip to Houston

I did not have nearly enough time in Houston to see it all. Houston is so large you need the better part of week to capture the basic essence of the place so here is my list for next time I am done here.
