The Alamo- San Antonio

San Antonio is a major city in south-central Texas with a rich colonial heritage.

  • 7th largest city in the United States with 1.5 million residents.

  • The metro population is approaching 3 million.

Remember the Alamo

The Alamo is an 18th-century Spanish mission preserved as a museum, marks an infamous 1836 battle for Texan independence from Mexico.

River Walk

Next to the Alamo the River Walk is the biggest attraction and what the city is famous for. It follows the San Antonio River for miles and is a landmark pedestrian promenade lined with cafes and shops. HemisFair Park’s 750-ft. Tower of the Americas overlooks the city.

Good Morning River Walk

During the day time it is a quiet and peaceful place. From sunrise until the lunch rush crowd you will find a lot of joggers and casual strollers taking in the new day.

Good Evening River Walk

As the night sets in the streets start to fill with people looking for a bite to eat or a cocktail to unwind with. I was asked how safe this place is and I can tell you there is a heavy but friendly police presence.

You will have a pleasant experience weather you are on a family outing or a first date. Even by yourself you can easily meet new people and do some good people watching.
